Installing Wi. Fi Drivers in Debian 7 Wheezy. Debian has set up a Wifi drivers page to help users install drivers for their devices. I have a Realtek Wi. Fi adapter in my laptop and this page helped me install drivers with in minutes. There is a list of different Wi. Fi devices with the name of their manufacturers and model numbers. This project was created by Intel to enable support for the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection and Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection mini PCI adapters. Intel Wireless WiFi Link Drivers (Supported). Identify your device from the list, there is a help page link next to device names with further instructions on how to install drivers. Follow the instructions, it is possible that you will have to restart your system after installing the drivers. Linux* Support for Intel. Driver development is done in the open- source Linux community. More information can be found on the community page. The wireless device requires firmware for operation. Firmware usually ships with your distribution, but the latest versions can be found in the table below. Firmware is provided under its own license in each download. You can download the firmware from the table below or go directly to the repository of firmware blobs for use with the Linux kernel.
